Booking Terms & Conditions.

Bookings can be made by telephone, fax, E mail or post. A booking is confirmed only with a minimum deposit of 25% of the total invoice. You'll be sent a confirmation of your booking on request by, post or E mail attachment, and the balance of the monies due, will payable on departure.

Provisional bookings by telephone are accepted, but must be confirmed within three days, unless the deposit is paid by credit/debit card over the telephone.

We accept all major credit & debit cards, cash and personal cheques. Cheques will only be accepted if presented at least seven days prior to arrival and cheques are made payable to “The Capri”, to keep our prices reasonable, our preferred method of payment is by cash which incurs minimum bank charges !

Arrival.

Accommodation will be available from 12 noon on the day of arrival, and the rooms must be vacated by 10-30a.m. on the day of departure. If you intend to arrive after 6p.m. please let us know in advance.  If you choose not to inform us of a late arrival The Capri reserves the right to re-let the rooms after 7p.m.  
The Capri offers a courtesy car service, if you are arriving by train or coach then please let us know in advance and we will be happy to pick you up from the train or coach station. 
 
Cancellations/No-Shows.

We wish to remind you that booking with The Capri is a legally binding contract, and should you cancel or curtail your stay, you will be liable to pay cancellation charges on any accommodation that we are unable to re-let. So we do advise that you let us know as soon as possible if a cancellation has to be made. The following cancellation charges may apply to any cancellations/ Up to 28 days prior to your stay return of deposit/ 14 days down to 7 days = 50% of your deposit paid/7 days to the day of arrival 80% of your total booking including deposit paid. No-Shows = You will be liable to pay half the full amount including any deposit paid, in certain circumstances these charges can be wavered at the discretion of the Capri.

All cancellation fees will be debited against the card offered at the time of booking and permission to do so is given by giving out these details.

Therefore we strongly recommend that you take out holiday insurance to cover the costs that you will have to pay if you cancel, this can be provided by The Capri should you request it.   
   
Miscellaneous.

The Capri regrets it cannot accept children under 5 years old, discounts for other children are as follows:
 5 to 10 years discount 50% - 11 t0 16 years discount 25% 

The Capri reserves the right to refuse entry to or expel anyone who is behaving badly or causing upset to other guests. In such cases there will be no refund for any days or time lost.

Please note that during your stay guests are responsible, and liable for any loss or damage caused by them to The Capri’s furniture or fixings. Any items left in the rooms will be held for 1 month after that time these items will be disposed of. If you require the items to be sent to you we will return them on receipt of a letter agreeing to the cost of postage.
 
Any guests staying or visiting The Capri does so at his/her own risk, we will not accept liability for loss or damage to any persons or property, unless caused by our own negligence. This does not exclude or limit your legal rights and privileges.  

Car parking is available to all guests staying at The Capri, car parking is entirely at the owners own risk and no responsibility can be accepted for any loss or damage to vehicles parked.

The Capri is a designated no-smoking guest house, therefore no smoking is allowed in any rooms within the guest house, and if you are caught smoking in any of the rooms you will be asked to refrain or leave with no refund. We have an area outside the guest house reception for smokers.
